PHOTO DOCUMENTATION
A series of photographs documenting my interaction with the medium. I’ve chosen this body of work because it is an essential part of my process-based artmaking.
I am fascinated by the alarming beauty of wood disintegrating into pulp. By pouring, folding, and breaking these transient forms my interaction with the material becomes essential. I record pieces in history that are erased and reflect on the creation of new. The use of light refers to my hope in restoring sustainability, healing, and coexistence with nature.
